The campus is situated on the banks of the River PAYASWINI and is located at a distance of 85 km from the port city of Mangaluru,a popular education hub.and 45 Kms behind Madikeri on the way of Mangaluru – BengaluruNational Highway NH 75 (old NH-48 andis also situated nearer to the interstate ( Kerala) border,65 Kms away from Kasaragod. It is well connected by road.

The Campus is established by The Academy Of Liberal Education ( Regd) Sullia Founded by the late Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda in The year of 1967.

The campus with a built-up area of 3 lakh sq. ft.is aesthetically constructed in the court yard system. Spacious classrooms with good ventilation and other facilities for all institutions .

KVG Polytechnic Sullia promoted by Academy of Liberal Education (Regd) Sullia .The Rural based premiere technical institution, established in the year of 1984, founded by Late Dr Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda,and, offers quality education to students to achieve their goals of becoming good professionals. Spread over an area of 5 acres, equipped with the best of infrastructure and has highly accomplished professionals who form part of the teaching and the administrative staff.

All Programmes offered by the institution are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), an apex body of the Government of India. The institution is affiliated to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under the recognisation of Department of Technical Education (D T E) Bangalore Karnataka..
Presently the institution is aided by government of Karnataka.
The institution is running six different courses, with 60 seats each for five Branches and 55 seats in Electrical and Electronics branch,
